LIFE GIVING SPRING
Archbishop Lazar Puhalo
While standing firmly in Church Tradition which can never be equated with liberalism or secular humanism, Archbishop Lazar is perhaps the only heirarch of the Orthodox Church who is outspoken on consumerism, American fundamentalist “conservatism”, and its misconceptions about family, science, and morality. Archbishop Lazar has ventured faithfully and steadfastly into intellectual and political terrain where few Orthodox theologians in North America have dared enter. The journey into such deep and demanding places has done much to reveal the splendour of Ancient Faith.
